Bambu Cottage - Newquay (Cornwall)

The bathroom at Bambu Cottage is fantastic! It has both a shower and a bath, so you can choose how to wash away the sand and surf. Plus, there's a rainfall showerhead that makes you feel like you're under a waterfall. It's pure luxury, especially after a long day on the beach. As a young, active traveler, I really appreciated the convenience of having a washer/dryer in the room. No need to haul around dirty clothes or worry about finding a laundromat. And let's not forget the electric kettle, perfect for making a quick cup of tea or coffee in the morning.

If I had to pick one thing, I'd say the only downside was the electric shower. It took a while to warm up, and the water pressure wasn't the best.

We had a fantastic Easter holiday in a beautiful cottage, which was cozy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and was incredibly clean. The location was perfect, right near the town and beach, with amenities and a supermarket close by. The fact that everything was within walking distance was a huge convenience. We also loved that we could bring our little dog along with us for the holiday.

While there was nothing that we didn't like about this property, we did have a few minor issues. The parking was a bit challenging as the spaces were narrow and it seemed like some of the neighbors weren't too happy with guests parking outside their houses.

Difficult to locate street, lack of microwave.

It is situated just above the harbor, providing stunning views and a peaceful environment. the interior design of the property is outstanding and creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. the bedrooms are tranquil and offer a welcome hideaway after a day at the beach.

Parking can be a bit tricky at times, as it is shared with neighbors and spaces are limited.

My recent stay at Bambu Cottage was perfect. The cottage had a gorgeous decor and a really cool vibe. It was located in a quiet pebbled street, making it super peaceful. The location was convenient, with shops and beautiful beaches nearby. We even discovered a delicious Italian restaurant called Little Italy just a few streets away. Quiet location with limited parking. Nearby supermarket, pubs, and restaurants with sea view and beach access. Lovely cottage with comfortable beds and interesting art. Good WiFi and helpful host. a characterful and engaging stay.

What a fantastic gem of a cottage! We had a wonderful stay at Bambu Cottage. The decor and quality of the cottage were excellent. It was impeccably clean and the sofa and beds were really comfy. The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk to Towan beach, with plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants close by. Parking was available outside the cottage, and the neighbors were lovely and happy to move vehicles if needed. The host was responsive and helpful. it was an absolute pleasure to stay at Bambu Cottage!
